If you want to excel in life the following points are essential.

Firstly, your setback, failure and frustration are reversible: your failure could be turned around to a miracle. The same business that was almost closing down, a miracle will happen in Jesus name. Do not be tied to the mistakes of the past, there is nobody who have not made a mistake in his life. If you want to advance in life never allow the frustration and disappointments of yesteryears to disturb you. Do not allow your past to rule your present. It may ruin you.
Anyone who gets tied to his yesterday will not fulfill what God has for him in the future. All those situation you are passing through can be turned around.

In the gospel of Luke 5:1-6, Peter was washing his net as a sign of the end of a futile exercise, while others were busy listening to Jesus preaching. There were two sets of people in this story. The first were those who were eager to hear the word of God in order to know what God would say to their situation and to get instructions from Jesus for direction. The second were those who were washing their nets in frustration, those who were counting their loses, those who were overwhelmed with the need of life. If satan can turn your focus to your problem alone, your problem will bury you, but if you can turn your focus back to God' word to control your life, your miracle is guaranteed.

Peter got his miracle by decamping from those that were washing their nets to those people who are hearing the word of God. In doing this, he receive an instruction from Jesus that turned his life around. Let me tell you, it must be noted too that there are many vision killers, some are destiny destroyers, they are highly infected with evil germs, stay away from such people. There are givers, there are takers, there are lifters, there are those who cause you to stagnate in life. All these people are always around you as a believer. Your assignment is to identify those who are lifters, makers, builders and those who would move you forward, and associate with them. Never keep company with destiny destroyers. The company you keep can either make you or destroy you.

Proverb 13:20, says "He that walketh with wise men shall be wise; but a companion of fools shall be destroy".

Proverb 14:7 also says "Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge ".From this passages above, we discovered that any person you are moving with and the words coming from him is not the words of wisdom or words that can lift you forward or encourage you, leave that person.
So Please, make a good choice.

The second point to consider is good position. You need to position yourself where God can reach you easily, and give you an instruction. In this generation, God has raised some ministers who are God's mouth piece. You need to take counsel and instructions from them and as you do that your ways will be smooth. Jesus gave instruction to Peter and he obeyed. As he launched out his net, he made enough catch. As you obey God today you are going to have a miracle. In you journey of through life, always incline to the word of God, because He knows the way more than you. If He leads you, you can never be misled and your journey through through life would be guaranteed.

Thirdly, conquering human logic; The instruction may offend your intelligence. Consider the account of Peter, The same spot that Peter had failed to make a catch, Jesus got there and commanded him to lunch out his net. The instruction of Jesus was against fishing ethics yet a miracle happen. You will also receive your miracle in Jesus name. You only need to recognize Him as the master of your life. Have you made Jesus the master of your life? Do you know He is the master of all situations and circumstances? Trust in Him today and your life will not remain the same.
